Router IP Addresses

A router IP address such as 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1 is a gateway to network admin portal through which admin can configure their default wireless network settings such as changing SSID (network name), router password, MAC filtering, creating guest network and modify various router features.

It is especially important to change your default router information because the factory settings are often vulnerable and have higher chances your router will be compromised by bad actors.
