  10. Scroll down to the Passphrase section and select the Use Custom Security Key/Passphrase option.
  11. Enter your desired password in the given field and click on Apply to save settings.

Thomson Router

  1. Connect your PC to the router using an Ethernet Cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. In the address bar, type http://192.168.1.254 or 192.168.1.254 and press Enter.
  4. Enter the admin username and password. You can find the default admin username and password from the label of the router or from the internet.
  5. Now that you have logged in, click on Home Network from the left menu.
  6. Click on the name of your Wi-Fi Network.
  7. Click on the Configure option in the top right-hand corner.
  8. Now, scroll to the Security section and select the type of encryption.
  9. Enter the passphrase in the given field and click on Apply to save settings.
